Introducing the Rattle Drum, a redesigned toy that offers a multitude of sound effects, stimulating the auditory senses and enriching the user experience.

The Rattle Drum stands out from other toys in its category due to its innovative design and unique properties. Qiu Liwei's team explored new possibilities in terms of structure, material, and modeling, resulting in a toy that pushes the boundaries of what a rattle drum can be. With the use of 3D carving technology, the inner wall of the drum is intricately designed to produce different sounds based on the texture of the drum film. This allows for a wide range of sounds, enriching the interaction and experience for young children.

Made from composite bamboo board, this toy not only provides a durable and long-lasting product but also promotes sustainability and environmental consciousness. The Rattle Drum project began in the spring of 2017 in Wenzhou and was completed in the winter of the same year. Throughout the design process, Qiu Liwei and the team faced various challenges, particularly in creating drum films with different textures that would produce distinct sounds. After numerous iterations and experiments, they achieved their goal, but they believe there are still endless possibilities for future designs.

The Rattle Drum has received recognition for its exceptional design. In 2018, it was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Toys, Games, and Hobby Products Design category. This prestigious award celebrates well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements.
